17759776_10154812300658300_870027634394555364_nThe 28th Annual Earth Day Omaha celebration will take place on Sat., April 22, 2017 at Elmwood Park in Omaha, Neb. from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Earth Day Omaha is Omaha’s largest ecological showcase and celebration and is free and open to the public. The event features exhibit booths from Omaha-area companies and organizations, children’s activities, environmentally focused demonstrations, live music from local bands, food from area vendors, free tree climbing, electronic recycling, valet bike parking and safety courses, health and wellness demonstrations, and a beer garden. All activities are designed to educate and inspire attendees to live sustainably and healthy in our communities.

“The Earth Day Omaha Coalition is thrilled to be offering another great lineup for this year’s Earth Day event,” said Liz Davis, Earth Day Omaha Coalition Board Chair. “We are excited to partner with environmentally friendly organizations and individuals in our community who are looking forward to sharing their work and initiatives with Earth Day Omaha attendees.”
